Connemara Country Lodge is hidden away on 7.5 acres of serene land populated with dense evergreen trees, presenting a million-dollar view of the Manukau Harbour. This secluded venue, located 1 hour southwest of Auckland, will treat you and your guests to total privacy, making it, so you're surrounded by the ones you love.
Upon arrival, you'll be greeted with a beautiful farm-style picket fence that wraps around the property, separating it from the populated tree line. The property grounds are beautifully landscaped and include an open area for an outdoor ceremony, a private children's playground to entertain the kids, hanging tree swings, and an extended spacious deck with a panoramic view.

This century-old lodge can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests and offers exclusive use of the property. While outdoor weddings are contingent on weather conditions, that's not the case for this venue. The wet weather ceremony room is in the backyard under an elegant white canopy with transparent rainproof adjustable siding, made to recreate an outdoor vibe. It's decorated with hanging rooftop garden lights to brighten up the night for your evening dinner and reception.
The lodge has eight guest rooms for guests who prefer to stay the night, which also includes a morning breakfast with a view. The venue is fully furnished with all your wedding accessory needs including, tablecloths, beautiful venue chairs, napkins, cutlery, and crockery. As part of the wedding package, you're given access to the venue the day before and after the wedding for rehearsal, setup, and after-party cleanup. In addition, your caterer will have access to the spacious kitchen that's fully equipped and ready to use. It doesn’t get easier than this!

We recently had our wedding at Connemara Country Lodge last weekend. Our day was absolutely perfect thanks to the owners Grainne and Kevin who are the most friendliest, down to earth, and helpful hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly and was perfect. They let us pop out on several occasions to practice setups and take guests out. They were very helpful with there knowledge of weddings and the different themes and how everything went.
There place is absolutely stunning. The view, the grounds and the gorgeous house is all so breathtaking. They helped with all our setup and take downs. And had every thing you could ever need for hire for a wedding. It took all our stresses away knowing every thing was there in the one place from ceremony to reception all the setup decor,furniture, eating serveware. We didn't have to try and organize much at all. Which made us more at ease. We had some of our wedding photos down in one of the paddocks with the beautiful trees. Kevin drove us down the drive and waited till we were finished and drove us back up to venue so we didn't have to walk in our heels or get dirty. When we got to reception it started to rain the covered in outdoor deck was perfect and the ceiling is covered in beautiful fairy lights it looked absolutely stunning along with all there lights around the place. All our guests were commenting all night and days after just how much they loved every thing about our wedding at Connemara Country Lodge and couldnt get over how truly beautiful it was. We stayed the night and Grainne and Kevin cooked us a beautiful cooked breakfast with fresh produce from the farm it was delicious. We couldn't thank Grainne and Kevin enough for making one of our biggest days one of our best days. Thankyou so so much we have made magical memories we shall treasure at Connemara Country Lodge!

My husband and I chose this venue for our wedding in late March. Right from the very beginning the hosts were incredible to work with and made the whole process very easy. The venue looked absolutely stunning on the day, the views from our spot for the ceremony were amazing and the area used for reception is so well thought out and generous in size. I very highly recommend this as a wedding venue and I imagine it would be equally amazing if you stayed as a BnB guest.
