Mediterranean heaven in the middle of CBD

Patrice looked like an absolute goddess from the get go! And Sam? Well he brushed up pretty well as well. We did have an extra little one today though that stole many hearts, Kali! This family is just a dream for an Auckland wedding photographer!
Hats off to Rachel (sister and brides maid!) for such an amazing house for the getting ready, with a koi pond right at the entrance and one of the most awesome terrariums (that included frogs and fishes!) that I’d ever seen. This was the perfect place for Patrice to get a bit nervous about finally tying the knot with Sam.
Kali stole the show again after donning her dress and even squeezed a tear out of Nanna as she walked out to show mum.
Before long though it was time for the real deal and we made our way to Sam at Pax in the Combie!
New to the scene is Pax, a small but GORGEOUS Mediterranean styled villa right in the middle of CBD! The owners were super friendly and helpful too as they’d even helped to setup a marquee and we still got to have our outdoor courtyard wedding as the rain splatted softly against the fabric.
It was finally time! And as the music rang, Patrice with Kali in hand, walked down the aisle while Sam had the biggest grin on his face I’d ever seen!
Time was of the essence so we quickly ran off to create some magic! Pax made it super easy though with every nook and cranny looking epic as! Would be every Auckland wedding photographer’s dream to get to shoot here.
We even managed to get a few wedding photos in front of the combie before Kali had to head off, and then it was time for just these two gorgeous humans.
Due to the pandemic, the party size had to be cut down a bit but a few guests made up for it by putting on an epic show 🤣
And so we wine, dined, sang and danced until it was time to say our good byes.
