We were literately checking “Auckland weather” every 2 hours for an entire week prior to the big day cause seriously, this has been THE wettest wedding season we’ve ever had and were just praying for a bit of sunshine for these 2 epic humans. We didn’t get that sunny day but to our pleasant surprise, the rain didn’t seem to phase them (or any of the guests!) at all :D and we ended up with one of the most lively weddings ever lol Vic and her ladies even rocked them gum boots right after the ceremony was over 🤣
With a last minute decision, everyone pitched in and we moved the ceremony into the marquee. And of course, these 2 being such epic humans, there were tons of tears (and some snout) all around as they tied the knot <3
Honestly, it was like there was no rain at all lol It didn’t click until I overhead one of the guests saying “Feels like we’re back in the UK aye?” and it all made sense 🤣
No matter how much water the sky poured down there was no pausing the party epic at the Waterfall Farm.
And of course as mentioned earlier, every bride has to have her gum boot on their big day 🤣
With a few emotional (and a couple of well placed burns) we were all ready for a long night of party and singing, Jasper & Jane Hawkins seriously brought the game as they got everyone showing off their best moves all while singing along to every song. Have seriously not heard that much clapping for wedding singers ever!
