Kelsey & Sam (& Hazel!) | Nga Manu Reserve Wedding | Destination Wedding Photographer
Amongst the Swans, the Ducks & Monkeys
The Awesome Wedding Vendors that made it happen!
An early flight and drive brought this Auckland Wedding Photographer to the heart of Kapiti Coast and these 3 epic humans! Yap 3, cause we definitely can't forget Hazel can we. Getting ready, as you can imagine , was hectic from the get go with 2 tornados whirling around the house. One minute smashing and chasing a balloon around the living, another min putting on aerobics shows on the beds (yap all the beds... room to room lol)
Hazel was super sweet though, always finding time here and there to come and see how mum's make up was going would always let her know how gorgeous she looked, and man did Kelsey look gorgeous <3
We couldn't leave for the wedding before we did a father daughter first look of course. John, decided to let the waterworks flow on accounts of how gorgeous Kelsey looked and she of course had to return the favour with a fist pump in triumph 🤣
Next up it was Sam's turn to shed a tear as Kelsey walked down the Aisle with dad but that wasn't the end of it. Not only did the two lovebirds vow to love each other, Kelsey also vowed to Hazel that she'd love her and always be there for her. This brought more than just a few tears to those witnessing the heartfelt moment and even we got a bit teary eyed <3
Off to couples shoot we go! It wasn't hard to get the perfect smile either, or should I say the "perfect laugh" cause Kelsey couldn't quite contain herself through out the shoot. We even had the opportunity of capturing an epic moment of Kelsey performing for us the "Champaign out of nose" stunt while she laughed as well as a nice bit of "weather" on Sam's face 🤣 Gotta say they really are made for this wedding photography stuff LOL
Oh right, we also caught a nice moment of Kelsey just resting her legs…. don’t think too much k? Cause this entire wedding was 100% PG
Back to reception we go and plenty of monkeys running around, probably the unsupervised sugar consumption hahahaha but that totally set the tone of the night as everyone ate, drank and partied the night away!
