Gather 'round for a heartwarming tale of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments from Catherine and Taylor's wedding day. As their Auckland wedding photographer, I had the privilege of witnessing and capturing every beautiful detail.
Let's start with Catherine getting ready at the enchanting Convent Hotel. Once ready, she emerges in a breathtaking floral dusty blue gown by Hera Couture, and Taylor's reaction during their first look says it all—he was absolutely stunned speechless. It was a moment of pure magic that set the tone for the rest of their special day.
Now, Catherine is already a natural beauty, but with the incredible talents of makeup artist Rae Sacha and hairstylist Sherrie Moleta from Messy Bun, she was transformed into an absolute queen. They truly worked their magic, enhancing Catherine's radiance in a way that left everyone in awe.
Their wedding theme was a stunning combination of white and green, beautifully brought to life at Glasshouse Morningside. This venue was the perfect choice with its blend of industrial chic and natural charm. The open space allowed the florist, Leaf and Honey, to weave their magic, creating jaw-dropping floral arrangements that adorned every corner.
And let's not forget the little details that added to the charm of their day—the adorable flower girl who stole the show with her cute and shy demeanor, and Taylor looking dapper in a stylish suit from Esque Atelier. Together, they made for a picture-perfect couple.
Throughout the ceremony and reception, there were moments of heartfelt laughter and tears. It was clear that Catherine and Taylor's love story had touched everyone present. The whole day felt like something out of a dream—a perfect blend of love, joy, and celebration.
Of course, no celebration is complete without a delicious treat, and Sweet Talk Cakes delivered with their amazing creations. Their cakes not only looked stunning but were also a hit with everyone, adding to the festive atmosphere of the day.
