When Brittney and Zack first reached out to us in helping plan the most epic elopement in Hobbiton, we were in. Even more when they told us that Brittney had an entire sleeve of Lord of the Rings tattoo including a massive Eye of Sauron while Zack had 2 sleeves with 1 dedicated to Dragon Balls… Er Mer Gerd!!
It was laughs all the way from getting ready as Brit was as bubbly as you’ll get! Casual talks of how much older ladies + men at gay bars were into Zack as well as coming up with a business plan to pimp him out to pay for the wedding carried us all the way through. (p.s. hope you’re doing ok at the moment Zack <3 )
We were also presented with an out of the ordinary surprise when we arrived in Hobbiton, a group of primary school students from overseas were waiting at the entrance as well as decided to serenade Zack and Brittney with a Waiata
Finally! Time to get these two beautiful people married! A short and sweet ceremony but I got to be a witness! It’s such an amazing honor whenever I get asked to be one and you just know how special it is being someone that helps to make it all official!
Hobbiton gives a tooooon of time for the tour/couples shoot, running around this beautiful place in Matamata and you always think “ya no problem that’s so much time” but then there’s just soooo many beautiful nooks and cranny that even 2 hours doesn’t feel enough! Honestly I could shoot all day! Especially when you get give such beautiful pair of bride and groom! Seriously Brit looked like she could have walked straight out of a Lord of the Rings movie with her purple wedding gown and stunning red hair! And Zack… I’ll let his blue steel do the talking.
