A Disney inspired dream wedding
When you ask me if I’d ever shot a fairy tale wedding before, I would choose Bryony and Brandon's wedding for sure. Their celebration happened at Willowbrook Park, and it was meaningful, elegant, and an absolute dream come true. As an Auckland Wedding Photographer, one of my favorite places to visit is this dreamy location.
Willowbrook Park is a wedding venue with many beautiful spaces. The main building is a Georgian manor house with beautiful interiors filled with luxurious details to make you fall in love. And the magnificent surroundings where you can walk through the formal lawns, say I do there or on a beautiful hill in front of a lake, and how about some unique photos with the blossoming orchards as your backdrop.
Their first look was a treasure; you could see how nervous and excited they were to see each other for the first time before tying the knot. The moment was perfect, and just like that, it was time for the ceremony to begin; as she walked down the aisle, he could not help himself from tearing up; the moment was here and each moment from then only got more magical.

Photo opportunities at this location are endless, and for Bryony and Brandon, the magic of the venue combined with their elegance gifted us memorable and everlasting images. The couple had an intimate wedding; it all begins with getting ready at the manor's house. They had the most breathtaking views of the garden and enjoyed every second with their bridesmaids and groomsman.
They exchanged vows in the formal lawns with their friends and family as witnesses. They share such a special bond, and their vows were proof of it. They are humble, graceful and also, were a conscious couple who had an environmentally conscious, animal cruelty-free and vegan wedding.
The reception was held outdoors (alfresco dinning!!), and I had the opportunity to snap amazing photos of the 2 love birds as the sun was setting over the horizon; it was simply magical. And one of my favorite parts of this wedding was the unique and delicious cotton candy machine, it was a fun activity, and everyone enjoyed it.
As the night came in, they had their first dance in the Ballroom and shared precious moments with their nearest and dearest. Once the night came to an end, the couple walked with dozens of sparkling lights lighting the path and the smiles of their guests waving goodbye. The fairytale wedding had come to an end, but it is only the beginning of their journey.
