Lets face it, sorting out the dance music yourself can be a headache. You don't know who might like what songs or even what type of music, when to play what to get the crowd going and you definitely don't want to keep on running between he dancefloor and your phone to put in the next song on spotify. If you're looking for a stress less way to enjoy a good night's party, then you HAVE to have a good DJ, no debate.

That said, though, it's also equally important that the DJ you have is GOOD. With some of the most experienced DJs on the scene, DJ4You will make sure to bring the party. Having worked with a few of their DJs over the years, I can honestly say they've yet to disappoint. Super organised, they'll confirm with you a song list of "play" and "don't plays" to make sure no random breakups songs find their way into your wedding day. Not only that, having so much experience, their DJs know how to read the vibe of the room and will be able to keep the party going all night long.

It also helps that they've got all the gears you'll ever want, need and more to get the beats pumping. We've also had them help us tap into the microphones recordings to get those clear crisp audio during the vows and especially when the groom sniffles and cries as the bride walks down the aisle.

It's not just audio gear though, DJ4You has an amazing array of lighting and special effects equipment that will make any venue look epic. Want beams of lights and lasers shooting everywhere? No problem. Want some spotlights to light up the place? Easy. Looking for something a bit more over the top like a fog/mist or bubble machine? Got it! It really does make these guys a one stop shop when you're looking to put a bit of extra pazzaz into your party. As an Auckland wedding photographer and videographer, can’t say how welcoming these all are!

DJ Russell Wills was amazing at our wedding. He was professional, slick and absolutely played to the audience. Our dance floor was so hot, that dancers beat us to the First Dance! He coordinated well with our MC and made vital parts of the day flow smoothly, without delay or breaks. We had many compliments relayed to us by our families and friends in attendance. One friend even compiling a play list based on every song Russell played! We were thrilled with the outcome, never had a sleepy dull wedding dance floor and he absolutely added to the atmosphere from 2.30pm till 11pm. We have just had our wedding and we got Jessie from DJ4You to run the music. WHAT A CHOICE! Jessie was absolutely wonderful keeping us and our guests entertained all night. He read the room and soon had everyone up and dancing and having a great time. I would highly recommend Jessie and DJ4You to anyone looking for music at their event. We will certainly be using him again for any future events.

We used DJ4You, as our wedding DJ for both the reception and ceremony at the Mudbrick - Our DJ, Yiduo, was great at reading the crowd and adapting, and kept people dancing right until when the lights turned on.
