Georgia & Andrew | The Orchard Garden Wedding | Destination Wedding Photographer

A True Secret Garden Wedding

Every couple about to tie the knot has one big concern for their wedding day, rain. There are always rain plans or a plan B linked to a wedding where rain is an uninvited guest. For Georgia and Andrew, the old saying became a reality when it rains; it pours. And man did it pour on their wedding day; good thing The Orchard Garden had a plan B ready for just the occassion and besides, a bit of rain on the big day is good luck right?!

Luckily the sky decided to clear up after the ceremony, and we had the chance to take amazing photos in the hedge maze as well as all the gardens there! What a treat it was to get to shoot at the Orchard Garden!

Throughout the day, neither Georgia or Andrew could hide their excitement and happiness, grinning from ear to ear. Super playful, full of energy and just the right amount of crazy, they belonged perfectly in each other's arms. And as you could expect, their bridal party were no slackers either; the bridesmaids had a full party going on and even popped a few bottles to keep it all going lol Groomsman too put on their best blue steel looks to steal this Auckland wedding photographer's heart <3

Once the reception started, the guests gathered inside a rustic and cozy space, with exposed brick, fairy lights covering the ceiling, and beautiful barn doors. Candles and glass vases with flowers were the perfect centerpieces.

Then it was time for the speeches, funny anecdotes, and loving wishes, as everyone enjoyed a drink. The new Mr. and Mrs. twirled away in their first dance but soon enough dancefloor was packed with everyone joining in to show off their best moves. What better way to celebrate love than by dancing the night away with your loved ones around?
