Who said tinder dates never work out!? These two are the epic match made in Heaven! Or Tinder!

And what happens when you put two party animals (who both hold alcohol closely to heart) together and throw a wedding? So so sooooo much awesomeness!

In fact before the wedding ceremony even started, the girls were already “dropping low” to some choice tunes outta the UE Boom while the boys had a few…. more than “saucy” moments on their side. Have to say though, both sides brushed up alright <3

If I had to sum up the ceremony in just a single word, I’d say “emotional”. Cause that’s definitely what these two awesome humans were, and not just them, parents, grand parents, sisters, friends, pretty much just about everyone shared a tear of happiness or two. Cam the celebrant did an awesome job of keeping the ceremony light hearted and a fun affaire though so there were always plenty of laughs even while the tears were wiped away.

It was our first time shooting at the Red Barn and man they do not disappoint! We first headed out to the famous drive way of The Red Barn. Lined with massive trees, is definitely made for some epic photos. Of course we had pretty gorgeous models that helped.

And of course with a party this crazy, we had to do a pose off :p best part of the day if you ask this Auckland Wedding Photographer lol

After the bridal party left, we made our way to “The Grotto” of The Red Barn and wow! It was like stepping into another world. Surrounded by trees, rocks and cliffs. Scott and Tayla danced the time away with Scott’s sweet serenade (for the whanau and friends, feel free to ask him what he sang :p)

Scott of course had to mark his territory before we left 😎

There were um…. more than a few secrets spilt during the course of the reception speeches, including a unveiling of a massive (and I mean MASSIVE) street sign that a certain someone decided was a good idea to… “liberate” from the local council 🤣

Have to make a mention too of the meal we had at The Red Barn.

It. Was. Awesome.

Kinda hard to describe in words but if you’re gonna celebrate your love here, know that the chefs and staff in the kitchen’ll whip some of the BEST food you’ll have tested.

With an epic venue like this, we obviously had to take advantage of the sunset! We were a little disappointed though cause the clouds were so thick but by the time we walked out into fields at the top of the hill, the clouds, almost like magic, decided to part right where the setting sun was. Wasn’t hard to get that perfect shot with Scott and Tayla bathed in the golden light, not being able to keep their hands off each other, they hardly needed to be told what to do lol

We decided to grab a few extra photos for the guests after our sunset session. Not sure what exactly the chain of events were but it somehow turned into a boudoir/tinder profile photo shoot. Not complaining of course, we managed to get some pretty saucy shots.

p.s. check out that last shot!!! Yes Brydie, you 10/10 owned it! <3

Now if these two crazies looked familiar, its cause we’ve shot them before :p In fact, we shot the proposal at Brandon and Elmie’s wedding just a year ago! We of course had to re-create the exact moment Tayla got the surprise of her life 🤣 But this time with her wearing the white gown. And yap, same lens, same camera lol

There was also a certain someone who wore the exact same dress just for this shot. Dedications right there.

And of course how can it be a party without some epic dance moves. Young, old and everyone in between were sport enough to grace the floors with their moves, all while screaming “dancing queen” late into the night!
