Kelly & Mike | Glasshouse Morningside | St. Matthew | Auckland Wedding Photographer
A Secret Garden Wedding in the middle of town
The central business district of Auckland has many hidden gems. One of them is the beautiful neo-gothic church of St. Matthews in the City; this building features incredible architecture. It was the location Mike and Kelly chose to celebrate their traditional ceremony. The magnificent high ceilings and stained glass were the backdrops of this Auckland church wedding.
The reception took place at Glasshouse Morningside, a magical venue with clear glass ceilings and a peaceful environment instantly transporting you to an oasis. Olives and oak trees line the construction and provide a sense of privacy and a connection with nature while being indoors.
The Awesome Wedding Vendors that made it happen!
Florist: Branches & Bloom
Furniture & Décor: Two Foxes
But what is a fairy tale without fairy lights and flowers? Of course, Mike and Kelly had a beautiful and elegant décor. Wooden tables and chairs were the baselines, but hundreds of sparkling lights set the mood for a romantic evening. Wild florals decorating each table and a gorgeous floral backdrop for the newlyweds was the finishing touch. Can’t thank Branches & Bloom and La Lumiere enough for making it all happen!
The cherry on top was the moment of the speeches; you could feel the love and how meaningful each word was as the parents and groom took a moment to express their feelings and wishes for this new stage in the couple's life. As the night arrived, the guests started to fill the dancefloor with fun and rowdy moves; I am certain they all had a day to remember.
